The F-15E uses one SUU-73/A centerline pylon under its fuselage (STA-5). The SUU-73/A pylon is equipped with one BRU-47/A bomb release unit and is capable of carrying more than 3,000 pounds. In this sense the pylon is basically a bigger container for the BRU-47/A bomb release unit and its the BRU which actually holds the weapon fitted here.

The SUU-73/A centerline pylon is a long and strong weapon carriage hardpoint that is attached under the F-15E's fuselage (STA-5).
