Is the Harpoon was ever tested on the F-15 ?....and if so, how was it attached to the wing pylon, presuming it was not on the center one.....

Hello Dan,

First of all, welcome to the SEF!
It's definitely not operational on the F-15E. If it were ever tested... My sources do not mention it. If you check out Boeing's website on Harpoon's specs (link here) it does not mention the Strike Eagle either.
However the F-15K is fully Harpoon compliant (check out our articles on the F-15K) and it was developed from the F-15E - so there should have been some testing first.

Thks Sabc,

It's always good to get real info from expert.

I'm still on with my project and from another forum(modelling forum) a member had a picture of the Korean Eagle with an Harpoon on the wing pylon and nothing else, apparently, some say that you can fit AMRAMM and AIM-9 along with it.... frankly I doubt it, it seem's you would have clearence issue, don't you think?

According to Wikipedia the AGM-84H SLAM(ER) is operational on the Strike Eagle. Not sure how accurate they are.

You're right about that but, the problem I have is using the Harpoon and AIM-9 on the same pylon....that just don't fit.

I checked on Boeing's website and the SLAM-ER is mentioned as a weapon the F-15E is capable to carry.
