Air Combat Command officials named the 4th Fighter Wing as 2010 ACC Meritorious Unit Award recipients.
"Congratulations to the men and women of the 4th Fighter Wing on winning the 2010 ACC Meritorious Unit Award," said Col. Mark Moore, 9th Air Force vice commander, in an e-mail message. The award is given to units for meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding achievement or service in direct support of combat operations lasting at least 90 continuous days. The actions of those assigned to the unit must display outstanding devotion and superior performance during serve directly related to combat efforts, setting it apart from other units with similar missions. |
