We are going to have a peer behind the curtains: how a brand new fighter squadron is built from scratch. We interviewed USAF SMSgt Tom Wharton (retired) who was in charge of managing an aircraft conversion and building the 492nd FS, which is now one of the busiest fighter squadrons in the USAF. Parallel to this, we open the Stories section of the website, which will contain interviews and other, Strike Eagle related stories. Migration from the 'old' website will soon be accomplished, until then you can read the Wharton interview, which is fresh stuff. What's newWith this site update we offer the following new article: Miscellaneous: Stories: The above article can be found in the 'Multimedia' menu (see left) under 'Stories'.
