| Website Outage |

As you most probably noticed, F-15E.info was down for almost 3 months (from 30th July 2009 to 18th October 2009). This outage was completely unintentional and we apologize about this. We moved the site to another hosting company and we had administrational and technical difficulties in the process and we were not able to maintain service. We planned to make the switch on 8th September, but our former hosting company, Strato AG of Germany terminated the website way too early (in July) AND got hold of the domain and did not let it go until 8th September, which was the end of their pre-paid service period. After this they did not release the domain (as international regulations would dictate) and we were able to finally get our domain back in October only. This left us in a situation where we had the site up and running on the new servers, but without a domain to point to it. We did everything we could against it, but we were simply powerless. This way of Strato handling their customer proved us that we did well when we decided to make the switch. F-15E.info is now hosted by Hostgator, a quickly growing US webhosting company. With them we are free to grow (no size and bandwidth limits) and we have a professional infrastructure background. This makes it possible for us to concentrate on purely 'making' the website with no fuss with 'maintaining' it. We hope everything will go well in the future and all our visitors will receive a quality service from us.
