Loadout configuration articles are among our most popular ones, so we decided to add more value to them: new images, detailed weight information, plus descriptions of the loadouts themselves and the conflict they were used in. We updated two articles (OAF and ODS), but there are more to come, so stay tuned...

We tried to favor our modeller visitors with these enhancements:

  • To give you some historic frame, at the beginning of the article we give a description of the whole conflict the loadouts were used in.
  • We give a short verbal description of all loadouts to give your impressions of how and for what reasons the loadouts were used in real life.
  • Loadout images are now clearer and offer a bit more detail in terms of image quality.
  • Loadout items are listed in a separate table (to make the image more clear) with exact station names and weapon weights.
  • We present you with a separate table for each loadout which lists the overall weight distribution of the given loadout, complete with a total takeoff weight.
  • We plan to add a small photo gallery to each loadout, containing images of jets carrying the given loadout.

Two articles had been upgraded so far, but we plan to upgrade all of them soon, so be on the lookout of our future website updates!
