An automatic program regularly scans F-15E.info articles and if something changes, it sends out an email alert for registered members - according to the settings of each member. You can access these settings in the "Website" menu (top left on the screen) under "Members Area" -> "Email alerts". As for the settings, you can set the following:
- Frequency of the alerts: You can choose "Daily", "Weekly", "Fortnightly", "Monthly" and "No email alerts". The system will attempt to send out alert emails per this value. The system logs website changes that occured after your last email alert and when the next alert time comes, this log will be sent out. If there is no content change between the two, no email will be sent out. You can disable the whole email sending automatism by setting this value to "No email alerts".
- Sections and Categories: Articles on this website are organized into categories and categories are organized into sections - section being the higher level. You can set which sections and categories you are interested in. The system will send out email alerts about changes in those articles only that belong to your selected sections and categories. By default, all sections and categories are selected.
- Count: Sets the number of changes to display in one email. The default value is 5.
